Iwatched this movie over the last 30 days about 15 times with my 4 year old grand daughter, son, daughter, inlaw, wife, etc, and never once did anyone leave until the movie was over. Buy it you wont regret it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great movie for children Comment: I am still to watch it completely but from what i have seen and read about it - this is an excellent animation for kids to watch.
Customer Rating: Summary: lion king dvd Comment: product was new and in the original factory packaging as advertised. delivery was fast and reasonable. will do business again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Poor Service Comment: I did not receive the merchandise that I ordered from Amazon. The amount was charged to my credit card, but I never received the DVD. I am very disappointed and will not order from Amazon again unless I am refunded the money that I payed for the order in a timely manner.
Customer Rating: Summary: On time and in good condition Comment: My son loves the Lion King, so I was so happy to find the DVD on line. I paid extra to buy the DVD in new condition. When it arrived the disc looked new, but the packaging didn't. I've seen this DVD before in its original packaging, and this product did not include the original packaging. Some of the promotional material, for example, was missing. That said, I don't really care that much about the original packaging as long as the disc arrived in great condition, which it did.

Not an ideal choice for younger kids, this hip and violent animated feature from Disney was nevertheless a huge smash in theaters and on video, and it continues to enjoy life in an acclaimed Broadway production. The story finds a lion cub, son of a king, sent into exile after his father is sabotaged by a rivalrous uncle. The little hero finds his way into the "circle of life" with some new friends and eventually comes back to reclaim his proper place. Characters are very strong, vocal performances by the likes of Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and Whoopi Goldberg are terrific, the jokes are aimed as much (if not more) at adults than kids, the animation is sometimes breathtaking, and the music is more palatable than in many Disney features. But be cautious: this is too intense for the Rugrat crowd. --Tom Keogh
